Bible Study

Fall 2024 Parish Bible Studies
Never stop learning about the Faith! Studying the Bible in a group setting is a wonderful way
to continue our life long journey to grow in our understanding of God’s Word. It helps us
focus on a particular book or aspect of the Bible or our faith and helps us find the deeper
meaning and how it plays out in our daily lives. “When we open God’s Word, its truth will be
imparted to us…” Studying with others broadens our outlook, expands our knowledge, and
opens us to hear the Holy Spirit speak to us here and now. A group setting allows for
discussions and provides the healthy support of a small faith community surrounding us in
prayer.

The ROC Catholics Northwest Evangelization Team has put together a listing of Bible Studies
which are currently happening within our 7-parish area. This resource can help you find a
convenient time and place to join a group with a topic that interests you.

A Biblical Walk Through the Mass: Understanding What We Say & Do in the
Liturgy
▪ The Mass is nothing short of amazing. Through it, we encounter God in the most
intimate way possible as we hear him speak to us in the Liturgy of the Word and
as we receive him Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity in the Holy Eucharist.
▪ The words, the gestures, and the rituals of the Mass are rich in
meaning. Everything we say and do in the Liturgy is steeped in biblical
language. A Biblical Walk Through the Mass explores the extraordinary
biblical roots of the Liturgy and reveals what it all means and why it all
matters. This fascinating tour of the Mass will renew your faith and deepen your
love for and devotion to the Holy Eucharist.
